SHIMLA, MARCH 15 : Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries Minister Virender Kanwar here today inaugurated 11 online services - five of Agriculture Department and six (Direct Benefit Transfer) of Animal Husbandry Department in the state. Virender Kanwar said five services of Agriculture Department including Chief Minister Nutan Polyhouse Project, Chief Minister Green House Renovation Scheme Green House Renovation Scheme, Mukhyamantri Khet Sanrakshan Yojna, anti- Hail Net scheme and State Agricultural Mechanization Program and six services of Animal Husbandry Department, including maintenance of pregnancy ration for indigenous or cross bred cows of farmers belonging to BPL Families of general categories, Him Kukut Palan Yojna, Krishak Bakri Palan Yojna, maintenance of pregnancy ration for livestock breeders under SCSP, provision of subsidized rams to sheep breeders and Best Animal Award scheme has been brought under this. He said that the applicants can now apply online for these services on the Himachal Online Service (e-District) portal https://edistrict.hp.gov.in and avoid visit to concerned office. These services were developed by Department of Information Technology through HPSCDC. He said that with these online services, applicants would no longer have to go anywhere to apply for the DBT scheme and can apply for multiple schemes using a single login. Facility to track application status online is also provided. Applicants can also apply through Lokmitra Kendra, e-district portal or directly on standalone website. Information would be provided through message (SMS) at each stage after applying. There will be a transparent approval process with first come first serve, option of online payment and important documents such as approval and agreement can also be downloaded online. He said that facility for review of online applications, transparency in processing of applications, process of first come first serve, paperless application process along with reporting would also be provided through the online services. Principal Secretary (IT) Rajneesh, Secretary Animal Husbandry Dr. Ajay Kumar Sharma, Secretary Agriculture Rakesh Kanwar, Agriculture Director N.K. Dhiman and other officers were also present on this occasion. |
