SHIMLA: The payment of income tax of MLAs and ministers by the state government has come under the lens of High Court of Himachal Pradesh. The high court today issued notice to the State Government in this matter to State Government.

SHIMLA: Coming down heavily in a matter highlighting the issue of tampering of evidence and poor standard of investigation in various criminal cases, which in turn changes the fate of the case, High Court of Himachal Pradesh has directed the State Government to specify how many directions of the court including recommendations of top forensic expert Dr MS Rao have been complied with to upgrade the forensic science labs in the state.
SHIMLA: Himachal Pradesh High Court today pulled up the slack state government for non-compliance of the High Court order that has sought to notify the constitution of an independent State Transport Appellate Tribunal within one month. The Court today granted one last opportunity to the state to comply with the aforesaid orders before 29.03.2022.
