SHIMLA: Taking cognizance of an uptick in Covid-29 cases in the country,  Prime Minister Narendra Modi today sounded an alert to the states  that the Covid challenge is far from over.

Interacting with the Chief Ministers of the country on a virtual platform from Delhi Prime Minister said despite managing the Covid crisis well as compared to other countries, we can see an uptick in cases in States now. We have to stay alert,  Modi said. 

Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur also attended the meeting virtually from Shimla.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah conducted the proceedings of the meeting.

Secretary Health made a detailed presentation regarding Covid situation in the country.

Health Minister Dr. Rajiv Saizal, Chief Secretary Ram Subhag Singh, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Subhasish Panda, DirectoHM Hemraj Bairwa also attended the meeting with the Chief Minister at Shimla.
