SHIMLA: In a  display of sporting talent, Himachal Pradesh's pride- its three daughters- shine brightly at the 37th National Athletics Championships underway in Goa these days.

Seema, the pride of Chamba district in the state, has clinched the gold medal in the 10,000-meter race at the 37th National Athletics Championship in Goa.

Her remarkable display of sporting excellence has brought immense honor and recognition to Himachal.  Congratulations to Seema for her outstanding achievement, and best wishes for her bright future, CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said in his statement from his AIIMS hospital bed. 

Jyotika Datta from Rohru in Shimla district, wielding her sword with finesse, clinched the silver medal in fencing, showcasing her exceptional prowess in this sport.

Meanwhile, Baloria, a student from Chalwara village in Kangra district, proved her mettle by winning the bronze in athletics, a shining example of the state's athletic excellence.

The daughters of Himachal have not only conquered the field but have also won the hearts of the nation with their dedication and hard work.
