Dehradun: 41 laborers are set to breath into an open airs as the rescue teams are gearing up to excavate through a 5-meter debris to reach the stranded workers. Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Pushkar Singh Dhami, personally communicated with the trapped laborers, assuring them of prompt rescue efforts.

The tense situation has garnered attention as the Chief Minister closely monitors the ongoing rescue operation. The workers' well-being is of paramount importance, and the excavation process is underway to ensure a swift and safe rescue.

Their primary objective: to safely extricate 41 laborers who found themselves trapped within the confines of the 4.5 km long Silkiara Tunnel, currently under construction in Uttarkashi.
