SHIMLA: State Congress President and Mandi Lok Sabha Pratibha Singh has hit back at the statement of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur in which he questioned the guarantee of Congress saying that he should worry about his party BJP and not Congress.

She said in the four by-elections in the state, people had completely rejected the BJP. Now in the coming assembly elections people will oust BJP from the power in the state, she added.

She said BJP has not fulfilled any of its election promises in the state, now every effort is being made to mislead the people at the time of elections by making false announcements every day.

Pratibha Singh said that the guarantee given by the Congress to the people of the state is the promise of the Congress, which it will fulfill at any cost as it has been doing in the past.

She said that Congress has always done public welfare works considering public interest as paramount.

On the other, BJP has broken the back of the people in the country with its anti-people decisions and decisions. Rising inflation and unemployment in the country have  disturbed the country's economy, she charged.

Describing the ten guarantees of Congress as a big and historic step of the party in public interest, Pratibha Singh said  it will prove to be a milestone in the public welfare and development of the state.

She said Congress has always fulfilled the aspirations of the people and will fulfil them in future also.

Pratibha Singh said that Congress will soon release its election manifesto.

In the election manifesto, in a bid to give justice to the employees, their old pension will also be restored, she said.

Apart from this, special attention will be given to unemployed youth giving them employment opportunities, women upliftment and public welfare works, social security and law and order, she said.
