Shimla: In a scathing critique of the Sukh government's one-year rule, CPM leader Dr. Kuldeep Singh Tanwar declared, "The Congress's promises have faded into the darkness of Kasumpti, with education and healthcare conditions stagnant as ever".
The ministers, who pledged transformation during their election campaigns, seem to have failed the people."
Despite the grandeur of Chief Minister's loyalist and two-time MLA Aniruddh Singh's leadership, the electoral promises made by Congress remain hollow.
Tanwar highlighted, "The Congress boasted about upgrading government roads and solidifying dirt tracks during their election campaigns, yet progress in that direction seems elusive."
Furthermore, the educational scenario remains bleak, with schools lacking adequate teachers and staff. Neither have the promised science classes commenced in colleges and SS schools under the one crore budget allocated for the purpose.
"The assurance of better healthcare services and the appointment of six specialist doctors in health institutions has proven to be nothing but a sham," Tanwar criticized.
"Neither in Junga nor in Mashobra have we seen a significant increase in specialist doctors, and the commitment to addressing unemployment issues following NGT rulings and horse-related concerns has fallen on deaf ears."
As the Congress government in Dharamshala celebrates a supposed overhaul, Dr. Kuldeep Singh Tanwar concludes, "The reality on the ground tells a different story—a tale of unfulfilled promises and the failure to bring about the pledged transformation."
