SHIMLA: In a heartwarming gesture, Lions Club Shimla has once again stepped up to support a talented yet underprivileged girl studying in the 12th standard at St. Thomas School.
Continuing their commitment from last year, the club has decided to cover her annual school fee of ₹30,200.
“We believe in empowering young minds, especially those who show promise but face financial hurdles,” said ManMohan Verma, President of Lions Club Shimla.
A team from the Lions Club, including President Verma, Chairman of Lions Trust Kapil Dev Sood, and members P.S. Panwar, Sufal Sood, Vinod, and K.R. Sharma, visited St. Thomas School today to present the cheque.
The Vice Principal of the school received the donation in the presence of the student, ensuring her education continues uninterrupted.
