SHIMLA: As many as 200 delegates would participate in the three days long conference that aims at addressing the new challenges of Minimal Invasive surgery in the country. 

The conference is being organised by the Department of Surgery, Indira Gandhi Medical College Shimla under the Aegis of Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endosurgeons (IAGES) from 18th to 20th November 2022 at IGMC Shimla.

According to the IGMC spokesperson,  state  Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar would inaugurate the Conference on 18th November at 10.30 AM at IGMC Auditorium. 

He said that about 200 delegates and renowned National and International faculty from all over the country would participate in the conference.

This conference would aid enhancing the laparoscopic skill of the participants making them better equipped to face the challenges in minimal invasive Surgery.

This conference is providing a certified fellowship Course (FIAGES) for Surgeons which is the need of the hour for young budding surgeons.
