AIIMS, Bilaspur at Kothipura

BILASPUR/SHIMLA: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will dedicate the Rs 1471 Crore AIIMS, Bilaspur at Kothipura and participate in the world famous Kullu Dussehra to strike chord with the Dussehra crowd ahead of the coming Himachal Pradesh state assembly polls.

Prime Minister has  planned the trip which is laced with dedication of AIIMS, Bilaspur, the Nalagarh- Baddi highway and participation in the Kullu Dussehra festivities that would make Modi as the first PM to do so.

Prime Minister could not keep date with the people in the Yuva  Sankalp rally in Mandi last month due to bad weather.

But Modi would address the rally at Luhnu ground along the Gobind Sagar Lake while he dedicates the AIIMS Bilaspur,  to people tomorrow.

Modi’s visit to Kullu Dussehra at Dhalpur to participate in the Rathyatra of lord Raghunath in which over hundreds of Devis and Devtas come for this divine get together to celebrate a week long international festival.  

Rajya Sabha MP and National BJP President Jagat Prakash Nadda and Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur today visited All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) at Kothipura in Bilaspur district to oversee the preparation for inauguration of AIIMS  by Prime Minister tomorrow.

Spread over an area of about 247 acres, this Rs. 1471 crore 750 bedded medical institute would provide super-specialty medical treatment to the people of the region.

They also visited Luhnu ground, the venue where Prime Minister will address the public meeting. 

Director AIIMS Dr Vir Singh Negi received the leaders on the occasion and made a detailed presentation.

Member of Parliament State BJP President Suresh Kashyap, Deputy Commissioner Bilaspur Pankaj Rai, SP Bilaspur Diwakar Sharma were also present on the occasion among others.
