SHMLA- The Himachal Pradesh government is creating special Rajiv Gandhi Government Model Day-Boarding Schools to improve education in the state.
These schools will be built in every constituency and will have space for about 900 to 1000 students from pre-primary to 12th grade. They will have modern classrooms, sports fields, indoor stadiums, swimming pools, and music rooms.
The Chief Minister, Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, wants to make education better in the state.
The Rajiv Gandhi Government Model Day-Boarding Schools will focus on developing students' personalities and giving them confidence for the future.
The schools will be built in phases.
First, they will make classrooms for pre-nursery to fifth grade, and it will take about 18 months to finish. The schools will follow the CBSE curriculum, which is a good standard of education.
Each Rajiv Gandhi Government Model Day-Boarding School will be on more than 100 kanals of land. They will have enough space for learning and playing. There will be smart classrooms, indoor stadiums, playgrounds, and even a swimming pool.
The government will give more than 100 kanals of land to the Education Department for each school. They prefer to have the land close to the district, sub-division, or tehsil headquarters, within 5 kilometers.
The Rajiv Gandhi Government Model Day-Boarding Schools are important because they will give good education to students in Himachal Pradesh.
