SHIMLA- SJVN, under the leadership of its CMD Sh. Nand Lal Sharma, had a successful financial year 2022-23. They achieved their highest-ever revenues of Rs. 3299 crores, a 25.67% growth compared to the previous year.
According to SJVN, its profit after tax also increased by 39.48% to Rs. 1363.45 crores. The company's net worth rose from Rs. 13128 crores to Rs. 13822 crores.
SJVN exceeded its capital expenditure target by spending Rs. 8240 crores on various projects.
They generated 9283 million units of power, surpassing the previous year's record. The company has a strong project portfolio of 77 projects with a capacity of 47279 MW.
Their goal is to achieve 5000 MW installed capacity by 2023-24, 25000 MW by 2030, and 50000 MW by 2040.
The success is credited to the hard work of SJVN employees, efficient operation of their units, and focus on financial growth. SJVN is also actively involved in constructing power projects and transmission lines in India and Nepal.
