SHIMLA- The Shimla Summer Festival Day 2 is better for the festival freaks as district administration acted on the HimbuMail Report and raised the stage.

It has been observed that the backbenchers and those watching from the sidelines are facing difficulties in enjoying the cultural performances due to visibility issues.
In response to these concerns, the district administration has taken cognizance of the HimbuMail Report and directed the contractor responsible for the stage to make necessary adjustments.
The administration raised the festival stage, making it more convenient and visible for all attendees, including those at the back and on the sidelines.
The administration has not shifted the stage away from the area beneath which are located the water tanks, an issue that former deputy Mayor had raised citing the High Court directive to that effect. .
These measures reflect the administration's commitment to ensuring a delightful experience for all festival-goers, allowing them to fully appreciate the vibrant cultural performances showcased during the Shimla Summer Festival.
The fence has been raised to secure the area underneath which water tanks located.
