UNA: In a poignant tribute to her late mother, Professor Simmi Agnihotri, Astha Agnihotri embarked on a heartfelt pilgrimage from their home in Gondpur Jayachand to the revered Mata Chintpurni temple in Una.
As it turned out, she rediscovered her mother's religious trail to Mata Chintpurni to fulfill her dream.
Accompanied by her father, Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri, and a multitude of locals, Astha's journey began on Friday morning, weaving through the sunsoaked landscapes of Bulha, Bhadiyara, Dulehda, Heeranagar, Heera, Haleda, Pubowal, Thakara, Palqwa, Bhadaudi, Haroli, Samana, Rora, Seinsowal, Dharampur, Kangar, Baddhaeda, Saloh, Ghaluvwal, Bhadasali, Isapur, and Pandooga.
As dusk approached, the pilgrimage found respite at Khadd, where the weary travelers rested for the night.
With the break of dawn on Saturday, the journey would continue with renewed determination and spirit, moving forward towards the sacred destination of Mata Chintpurni.
Along the way, the pilgrimage gathered support and admiration from all walks of life, including political dignitaries such as former minister Kuldeep Kumar and ex-legislator Rakesh Kalia, as well as countless individuals touched by Astha's dedication.
Astha expressed deep gratitude for the overwhelming support received, emphasizing her mission to seek blessings from Mata Chintpurni and fulfill her mother's cherished dream.
