Dehradun - The Surrealistic Parvati Kund and Jageshwar in Kumaon mountains in  Uttarakhand are set to emerge as the new tourist hotspots among the solace-seekers and adventure lovers from across India and outside.

These two religious top spots  in Kumaon mountains have gone viral on social media soon after Prime Minister Narendra Modi flashed his pictures worshipping in the temple and meditating  against the surrealistic backdrop of the scared Om mountain.

This mountains is revered so by the pilgrims and locals as it reflects the cosmic Om symbol that can be seen on the face of the mountain.

The beauty of the Parvati Kund lies in the fact that this Om mountain is reflected in the lake adding to the lure of the place.

During his visit, PM Modi encouraged people from India and around the world to explore the surrealistic beauty of the Himalayas in this lesser-known part of  Kumaon region.

He personally visited Parvati Kund and the Jageshwar Temple, spending hours in meditation and interaction with the local priests before he addressed a public meeting after he laid foundation stone of some projects.

At Parvati Kund, visitors can witness the breathtaking sight of a pristine lake reflecting the snow-capped peaks of the Himalayas, creating a spiritual and awe-inspiring experience.

PM Modi's serene demeanor, dressed in white attire with folded hands in front of the majestic mountains, was widely shared on social media, presenting him in a "saintly light".

These recommendations from the Prime Minister are expected to boost tourism in Parvati Kund and Jageshwar, not only benefiting the local economy but also diverting some of the overwhelming rush towards the Chardham pilgrimage.

Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan, responding to PM Modi's call, expressed his deep fascination with the Kailash Parvat's religiosity and divinity, acknowledging that he may never have the opportunity to visit in person.

Parvati Kund and Jageshwar are now poised to become hot tourist destinations, drawing nature enthusiasts, pilgrims, and a diverse range of tourists seeking the mesmerizing beauty of Uttarakhand's Kumaon region.
