This announcement was made in the context of Swachhta Pakhwada, which is being observed across the state and the country on October 1st, as part of Seva Pakdha, a celebration on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday.
Dr. Bindal emphasized the importance of Prime Minister Modi's efforts in promoting cleanliness, following the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi.
He encouraged BJP workers and the public to support Khadi by purchasing it in large quantities on Khadi Day.
Khadi not only holds cultural significance but also aligns with the "Vocal for Local" initiative, supporting local artisans.
The BJP conducted 6412 cleanliness programs across divisions in Himachal Pradesh, involving various organizations in the noble endeavor of promoting cleanliness.
