Shimla: In an achievement, the Himachal Pradesh State Cooperative Bank has crossed the impressive milestone of a 10,000 crore loan portfolio, solidifying its position as a leading financial institution in the state.
The bank, under the leadership of its Chairman, Shri Devendra Shyam, has been consistently setting new standards and outpacing several other banks to reach the pinnacle of a 10,000 crore loan portfolio.
Providing insights into the bank's success, Devendra Shayam highlighted that the institution has benefited lakhs of customers by offering various loan facilities.
Since the year 2015, the bank has augmented its loan portfolio by nearly 8,000 crores, with a significant portion directed towards supporting farmers, he said.

Recently launched attractive loan schemes, such as the Women Empowerment Loan Scheme and the Salary-based Loan Scheme for wage earners, have attracted millions in loan disbursements.
