SHIMLA:  Himachal Pradesh Police have lifted the curtain on the “blind murder case of two women whose wrapped bodies were found from Parwanoo on February 2 by arresting  Jatinder Pal Singh  (Vicky), 43 years, a resident of Kharar and  Dinesh Kumar, 31 years, resident of Ganguwal (Anandpur Saheb).

According to the police, SIT headed by Solan police,   DSP Parwanoo  Yogesh Rolta  gathered vital clues in the blind double  murder case and arrested  one Jatinder Pal Singh  (Vicky), 43 years from  Kharar  and  one Dinesh Kumar, 31 years, a resident of Ganguwal (Anandpur Saheb). The police also   seized  Vehicle (plate # HR 03N 3403 Tata Vista) used in the crime.

IGP Southern Range, Shimla also visited the spot and reviewed progress of investigation with SP Solan and SIT. SIT diligently collected and carefully analyzed large amounts of digital, physical, oral and circumstantial data and  evidence from multiple sources spread over a large geographical area.

DGP police Sanjay Kundu said the investigation of the case is at an important stage and more details cannot therefore be shared at this stage.

The accused  was produced before the Judge at Kasauli today, who remanded them to police remand for seven days, informed SP Solan, Virender Sharma. 

DGP has complimented Solan Police for cracking this blind and sensational case through top class professional investigation.

The police have found the dead bodies of two unidentified females dumped on the roadside near Railway Tunnel # 10 near Koti on Solan - Parwanoo highway on February 2. The bodies were rolled up and wrapped in bed sheets.

The police lodged the FIR on  2 February 2022 under section 302 IPC at  Police Station Parwanoo. Considering the gravity of the offence, an SIT was constituted by SP Solan Virender Sharma  for the investigation of the case. SIT was headed by Dy.SP Yogesh Rolta (SDPO Parwanoo) with Inspector Daya Ram (SHO Parwanoo) and Inspector Rakesh Roy (SHO Dharampur) as its members.

The spot was inspected by a team from State Forensic Science Laboratory, Junga. Post mortem of the bodies was conducted in the Department of Forensic Medicine, IGMC, Shimla on 3 February 2022. Through painstaking efforts by SIT, the bodies were identified. Identification details cannot be shared. After due procedure, the bodies were handed over to the next of kin of the deceased on 6 February 2022, the police said
