Education Minister, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan of the Government of India, is all set to inaugurate IInvenTiv 2024, the country's largest Research and Development (R&D) Innovation Fair hosted by IIT Hyderabad.

 The inauguration, scheduled for Friday, 19th January 2024, at 9:30 am onwards, will witness the presence of Ms. Nivruti Rai, MD & CEO of Invest India, as the Guest of Honour.

IInvenTiv 2024, in its second edition, stands as the Ministry of Education's flagship event, showcasing the innovation prowess of 23 IITs, along with other esteemed institutions such as NITs, IISERs, IISc Bangalore, and the top 50 NIRF-ranked engineering institutions.

The event spans over two days, 19th and 20th January 2024, promising to be a celebration of ingenuity and technological advancements.

This mega R&D fair focuses on five major themes: Affordable Healthcare, Agriculture & Food Processing, Defense & Space, Industry 4.0, and Sustainable Technologies.

A platform to highlight the holistic impact of research and innovation by top Higher Education Institutes in the country, IInvenTiv 2024 anticipates the participation of around 2,000 companies.

Together, they aim to bridge the gap between groundbreaking ideas and real-world applications.

In a nod to the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav initiative, celebrating the 75th year of India's Independence, IInvenTiv 2022 showcased projects spanning climate change, sustainability, smart city architecture, rural agriculture, affordable healthcare, and drone technology.

The inaugural edition, held at IIT Delhi in October 2022, featured 75 projects from 23 IITs and drew over 3000 attendees. Now, with IInvenTiv 2024, the stage is set for another round of transformative innovation and collaboration.
