SHIMLA: The Indian Army has initiated the much-awaited Agniveer recruitment drive, targeting the vibrant youth of Himachal Pradesh.
Under the Agniveer Scheme, eligible candidates from Shimla, Solan, Sirmaur, and Kinnaur districts are invited to register online on the official website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. The registration window opens from February 13th and will remain active until March 22nd, 2024.
Colonel Pushvinder Kaur, the Recruitment Director of Shimla's Recruitment Office, emphasized the mandatory nature of registration on the Indian Army's website. Prospective candidates are encouraged to visit the site to review eligibility criteria and other essential information regarding the Agniveer scheme.
The recruitment process encompasses various roles, including Agniveer General Duty, Agniveer Office Assistant/Storekeeper Technical, Agniveer Tradesman, and Agniveer Technical.
To aid candidates in understanding the registration and examination procedures, the website hosts instructional video links.
Scheduled to commence on April 22nd, 2024, the online examination will take place across multiple centers. Applicants have the liberty to select their preferred examination center during the registration process.
