Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla presided over the Foundation Day of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh UTs.
He stated that they were established on 5 August 2019 after Article 370 was abrogated. Development has surged since then, with numerous projects completed in Jammu & Kashmir.
Ladakh's infrastructure, including roads and tunnels, improved, along with education, tourism, and health sectors. Shukla highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi's initiative to celebrate Foundation Days for unity.
He emphasized that these events aim to promote national unity, culture, and customs. Both UTs saw increased job opportunities and economic growth, driven by tourism.
The cultural troupe of Ladakh received Rs. 51,000, and residents shared their experiences.
The Governor administered the oath of National Unity, and both Governors honored the UTs' residents.
