SHIMLA: Jubbal town in Shimla district has got Rs 3 crore for parking complex as demanded by former legislator late Narender Bragta.
Urban Development Minister Suresh Bhardwaj here today said rupees one crore had already been released by the government on the demand of former MLA of Jubbal-Kotkhai, late Narinder Bragta for the construction of parking in Nagar Panchayat Jubbal. He said an additional amount of Rs. 2 crore has been approved for this parking, he added.
He said urban development plays an important role in the development of the state. With better road facilities and increase in vehicles, proper parking facility has become very important. The state government was committed to the demand of parking of the people of Jubbal. The state government is making every effort to expedite the construction work of this parking.
This parking, which will be constructed at a cost of Rs 3 crore, will provide parking facility to the people of the area and this parking will be a tribute to late Narinder Bragta.
