NEW DELHI/SHIMLA- Four Days after India including the Himalayan states  celebrated the historic inauguration of New Parliament House by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on May 29th,  it has attracted a world wide gaze, setting social media in a mood of celebration. New Parliament House symbolizes the aspirations and dreams of India's 1.4 billion citizens.

The New Parliament is set to become a massive tourist draw for Indians and Foreigners.  It has become a new Global 'Giant-Baby' for globe gazers.

Congress and Modi-Bashers on the one hand and the BJP and its Saffron Fraternity on the other, are busy in bashing each other on social media scoring points.

They, in fact, are daggers down over  New Parliament House Vs Old Parliament of Lord Irvin Fame, a  Golden Period of former Prime Minister Pt Jawaharlal Nehru, sharpening their political weapons in public domain to prepare pitch for 2024 Lok Sabha Battle. People of India will decide who deserve to sit in this New India's New Parliament House in this battle of ballets.    

But leaving all opinions or bashings aside, New Parliament House has sprouted right from the roots of Indian civilisation, a Sangam of cultural and democratic values of Indian diversities and Aesthetics. It uses Sunlight as its six Dwar draws inspiration and energy  from Nature.   

It was completed with the cost of Rs 836 Crore in just two and half years time. Its foundation was laid by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in December 2020. New Bhawan will accommodate 1272 members in joint sessions of Parliament, taking care of all time to come. 

New Parliament Bhawan has emerged from a churning of "Indian cultural Ocean". It has sprouted out into an Architectural Marvel as if Vishwakarma himself has designed it.      

Old Parliament House is circular, New India's New Parliament is Triangular in Shape. 

In a flashback, the ceremony commenced with an all-faith prayer held within Parliament House complex. It was attended by ex-PM and President, Members of Parliament, and senior public representatives.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, addressing the gathering, expressed his heartfelt congratulations to the nation on this remarkable milestone for Indian democracy.

The Prime Minister said new Parliament House is more than just a building; it is  a testament to India's firm resolve and a crucial link connecting plans with reality.

He highlighted its role in materializing the dreams of India's freedom fighters, as well as the nation's journey towards becoming a Atam-Nirbhar  and a developed country.

Describing the new building as an epitome of both modernity and ancient heritage, Prime Minister Modi spoke of the significance of the Holy Sengol, a revered symbol associated with duty, service, and nationhood in the Great Chola Empire.

The presence of saints from Adheenam, who came from Tamil Nadu to bless the occasion, added spiritual sanctity to the event.

India's rich democratic tradition is deeply rooted in its culture.

PM highlighted India's historical references to democratic ideals in ancient texts like the Vedas and Mahabharata. He said India is not only a democratic nation but also the mother of democracy.

The Parliament is the best representative of this democratic inspiration and resolve. It serves as a platform to uphold India's diverse cultural heritage.

Prime Minister emphasized that the construction of the new Parliament House was a necessity, given the challenges faced in Old Parliament House.

The modern facilities and infrastructure of new Bhawan,, designed to minimize electricity consumption and equipped with cutting-edge technology, will provide a conducive environment for the efficient functioning of the Parliament.

Prime Minister Modi expressed his gratitude to over 60,000 workers involved in the construction of this new Bhawan. It was their dedication and hard work that made this architectural marvel possible.

A digital gallery was inaugurated in Parliament to honor their contribution, a first-of-its-kind initiative globally.

Reflecting on the progress made in the past nine years, the Prime Minister highlighted NDA  government's focus on both infrastructure development and welfare of poor.

WITH coming 2024 Lok Sabha elections in focus, he cited achievements of his nine years long regimes- Construction of four crore homes for the poor and 11 crore toilets to safeguard the dignity of women.

He said His government created  over 400,000 kilometers of rural roads and  more than 50,000 water reservoirs, queering pitch for the BJP- Bashers and Opponent .

Prime Minister concluded by urging every Indian to embrace the spirit of "Nation First" and prioritize their responsibilities as epitomized in Sengol.

He emphasized that the new Parliament House would serve as a source of inspiration, instilling a sense of duty and encouraging the building up of a developed India.

The inauguration of the new Parliament House marks a significant milestone in India's history, propelling the nation towards a future of progress and prosperity.

As the world's largest democracy, India's new legislative home stands as a symbol of strength and unity, inspiring both its citizens and nations worldwide.

With this grand edifice as a guiding force, India embarks on its journey towards a brighter future, upholding the ideals of democracy and fulfilling the aspirations of its people, PM said.
