SHIMLA; Himachal Pradesh Congress President and Mandi Lok Sabha MP Pratibha Singh accused the BJP led NDA government at the Centre of misusing the investigative agencies that amounted to murder of democracy in the country.
In a interaction with media persons here today Pratibha Singh said people of the country are not going to sit silent over this. A big mass movement will be started across the country and will awaken the people against these policies and misuse of the investigative agencies in the country, she claimed.
Pratibha Singh strongly opposed the ED's summons to Congress National President Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, saying that none of political conspiracy against Congress leaders will ever succeed.
She charged that by misusing the investigative agencies, the BJP violated the dignity of democracy and people would never forgive them for the misuse of power.
Pratibha Singh said in the case in which the ED has summoned Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, both the leaders will come out clean. Rule of law runs in the country and Congress has full faith in the law, she said.
Expressing her concern over the politics of polarization in the country, Pratibha Singh said unity and integrity of the country seems to be in danger once again. She blamed the BJP for the increasing communal violence in the country.
