Shimla:  BJP today decided  that the party would put up 50,000 BJP flags, each 10 ft  to celebrate its foundation day on April 6 as a grand program across the state.

BJP state president Suresh Kashyap said that BJP is going to consider the foundation day program at the assembly level. In this program about 5000 workers will participate per assembly. This program itself will be like a public meeting, he added.

This was decided at the party meeting of BJP state office bearer, district president, in-charge, co-incharge, divisional president, which was completed through a virtual medium here today. 

BJP National Vice-president Saudan Singh, Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur, BJP State President Suresh Kashyap, Organization General Secretary Pawan Rana, General Secretary Trilok Jamwal, Rakesh Jamwal and Trilok Kapoor were present in the meeting.

Kashyap said all the Tridev, who are booth president, Palak and BLA will be required at the booth level. All MLAs, Ministers, District Presidents, Mandal Presidents will be present in the program and will also distribute a kit in which there will be BJP flags, Patke and Tridev's name plaque. BJP is going to put up about 50000 big flags in the entire state. The size of the flag will be 10 feet, he added.

BJP National Vice President Saudan Singh said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address BJP workers at 10 am on the foundation day on 6th April. This address will be heard by all the workers on television or LED at the venue.

After the foundation day program, BJP will start the Maha Jan Sampark campaign and all the workers will also participate in the BJP's padyatra.

Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said that BJP Foundation Day on 6th April is an important day and they will all celebrate this day in a grand manner. The workers are upbeat  and the program will infuse new enthusiasm and energy among the workers. BJP's foundation day is going to be an effective program, he added.
