INDIA Alliance Rallies Behind Congress Candidate Vikramaditya Singh in Joginder Nagar, Criticizes BJP's Kangana Ranaut...
JOGINDERNAGAR(MANDI): The Congress, CPI(M) have intensified their campaign for Vikramaditya Singh, the Congress candidate from the Mandi Lok Sabha constituency.
The leaders say Vikramaditya Singh is on a winning track as he is better candidate and well versed with issues that concern people of Mandi district.
They held several village-level meetings, drawing significant participation from Congress, CPI(M) and Kisan Sabha activists.
These gatherings took place in Pashal, Tikkri Mushehra, and Bhadyara Panchayats, with local Congress leaders also in attendance.
Prominent figures such as Surendra Pal, the state general secretary and former MLA from Congress, CPI(M) state secretariat member Kushal Bhardwaj, CPI(M) local committee secretary Ravinder Kumar, CPI(M) leader and BDC member Neelam Verma, Congress block president Surendra Kumar, and district vice president Gurusharan Parmar addressed the meetings.
Kushal Bhardwaj emphasized the critical nature of the ongoing Lok Sabha elections, describing the contest as a battle between two alliances: the BJP-led NDA and the INDIA alliance, which includes Congress, CPI(M), the Aam Aadmi Party, and others.
He highlighted the coordinated efforts within the INDIA alliance, noting that each party supports the designated candidate in their respective constituencies.
In Mandi, Congress's Vikramaditya Singh has been fielded by the alliance, with CPI(M) and other coalition partners actively campaigning for him.
Bhardwaj criticized the BJP's ten-year rule, citing widespread dissatisfaction and a national desire for change.
He urged the residents of Joginder Nagar to contribute to this wave of change by ensuring a decisive victory for Vikramaditya Singh.
He condemned the BJP for failing to deliver on promises, such as providing two crore jobs annually, and for policies like the Agniveer scheme, which he argued have shattered the dreams of many young Indians.
He accused the BJP of favoring big corporations and treating farmers as adversaries, while attempting to undermine parliamentary democracy, the constitution, and social welfare schemes.
Former MLA Surendra Pal also lambasted the BJP, declaring its candidate, actress Kangana Ranaut, unfit for the political arena.
He praised Vikramaditya Singh for his political acumen, commitment to public issues, and hard work.
Pal argued that a substantial victory for Singh would benefit the entire Lok Sabha constituency, contrasting this with Kangana Ranaut's likely return to Mumbai's film industry post-election.
He pointed out the lack of development under BJP's local MLAs in Joginder Nagar and expressed gratitude to CPI(M) leaders like Bhardwaj for their efforts in supporting the alliance candidate.
Pal called on all constituents to ensure a resounding win for Vikramaditya Singh, the popular choice of the INDIA alliance and Congress.
