SHIMLA:  Congress President and Mandi Lok Sabha MP Pratibha Singh has accused the BJP of openly misusing the power to bring the state to economic deprivation.
Addressing the public meetings in support of Congress candidate Nand Lal in Rampur and Jagat Negi in Kinnaur Pratibha Singh said  the state has sunk into debt of Rupees 70 thousand crores.
The unemployment figure in the state has crossed 10 lakhs, she added.

Pratibha Singh said the Congress has always done balanced development of the state, while the BJP has created  regional imbalance and discrimination.

She alleged the BJP in the present term cut the strings of only those schemes which were started by the Congress government of Virbhadra.
She said just a few months ago, the Chief Minister had failed to mislead the people by making announcements in various areas of the state without any budget.
Congress president  claimed  during his five-year tenure, CM  never took any care of the problems of the state and  discriminated against employees.
Pratibha Singh said that the Congress would immediately restore the old pension to the employees after coming to power.
Vacant posts lying in government offices will be filled.

Apart from this, to give relief from inflation, women will be given financial assistance of Rs 1500 every month, and 300 units of electricity for domestic use will be given free of cost.

Pratibha Singh said that a startup scheme of Rs 680 crore would be started to make the youth self-employed.
She said  Congress does what it says.
Pratibha Singh urged the party workers and people to strengthen the Congress and ensue victory of the Congress candidates.
