CHOPAL: Himachal Pradesh Congress Organization General Secretary Rajneesh Kimta today sought support of youth of Chopal for Congress for an all-round development of the region as the "present BJP government has failed to deliver on all fronts".
Addressing the youth sports meet in Nerwa today, Kimta said Congress had done significant and equitable development of Nerwa and Chopal area. "But in the present BJP regime the roads are in bad condition, Education and health services are in bad shape in Chopal sub-division", he charged.
Kimta claimed the farmers and horticulturists have been neglected over the years by the BJP government. In fact, entire state is going through a rough phase for which the BJP government is responsible, he charged.
Rajneesh Kimta said the pace of development in this area would accelerate as soon as the Congress comes to power in the state. The participation of youth would be of integral importance as BJP has failed to provide employment in the state, he claimed.
Kimta said the rising rate of unemployment and inflation has created heartburns among the youth. Ignoring the youth of Himachal would cost BJP badly in the upcoming state assembly elections, he said.
He said the time has come to bid farewell to the Jairam Thakur Government. “Youth is favouring Congress and party is becoming stronger in Chopal Vidhan Sabha area than before. We urge people to support Congress in future to pace up development in the district”, Kimita said.
Welcoming the 126 youth Cricket club's that came today too Nerwa Youth samellan, Kimta said that the main objective of these programs is to advance youth power and make good use of their skills in field of sports. He said that sports hold a very important place in our life and urged to join hands with the party in ousting the incompetent BJP government.
Kimta provided sports kit for 126 youth clubs of Chopal, wishing them good luck in sports. He also thanked the people of the area for showering their love and blessings on him in the past and also urged the people to support Congress in forth coming Vidhan Sabha elections.
Kimta claimed that once the Congress comes to power, the old pension scheme would be implemented in the state and this will also be included in Congress Manifesto.
