SHIMLA/BILASPUR; Congress President and Mandi MP Pratibha Singh has said that here is wave in favour of Congress in the state as BJP has never been working in public interest. The Modi government is selling the government undertakings of the country to give benefit to some of its big industrialists, she charged. BJP along with capitalists is promoting capitalism in the country. The interests of farmers and fruit growers are being completely ignored in the country, she charged.
Addressing the Parivartan Sankalp rally in support of Congress candidate Vivek Kumar at Barthi in Jhanduta and the road show at Ghumarwin in support of Rajesh Dharmani in Bilaspur district today, Pratibha Singh said there is a Congress wave sweeping Himachal today.
She said people are troubled by BJP's dictatorship, anti-people policies and decisions. The rocketing inflation and unemployment are the result of these policies, she claimed.
Earlier, Pratibha Singh held a road show in favor of party candidate Rajesh Dharmani in Ghumarwin and sought votes from the people for him.
Pratibha Singh said former Chief Minister Late Virbhadra Singh has a great contribution in the construction of AIIMS in Bilaspur. He made complete arrangements for the infrastructure for its establishment.
"Today BJP gives full credit to itself by misleading the people, people of Himachal know who did what for them", she said.
Pratibha Singh said that people are going to elect the Congress government in the state, no one should have any doubt about it.
She said the BJP has failed on every front in the state.
"Police recruitment paper leak case is not a small matter".
"It's not merely a paper leak, papers were sold and as soon as the Congress government is formed, its culprits will be behind the bars after conducting a fair investigation of this whole matter", she asserted.
Pratibha Singh said that Congress will restore old pension to the employees under its 10 guarantees. A start-up scheme of Rs 680 Crore would be set up providing interest-free loans to the youth, she added.
Pratibha Singh urged voters to ensure that Rajesh Dharmani and Vivek Kumar win with huge votes. She sought votes from the people to strengthen Congress party in the state.
