DHARAMSHALA: Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that the state government will ensure budgetary provisions before announcing schemes.
Sukhu took a dig at the previous Jai Ram Thakur government saying they made announcements only to get political mileage without making budgetary provisions.
Addressing a public meeting at Chanour under Indora assembly segment today after taking stock of the preparations of Bharat Jodo Yatra, Chief Minister said the present state government would fulfill all the 10 guarantees of the Congress Pratigya Patra-2022 after making the required budgetary provisions.
"We are committed to improve fiscal health of the state and will ensure to boost the economy in coming times," Sukhu said.
He said the government would have zero tolerance towards corrupt practices.
The suspension of the Staff Selection Commission, Hamirpur which had become the hub of selling jobs is a case in point, he added.
CM was accompanied by State Congress President and MP Pratibha Singh, Agriculture Minister Chander Kumar, CPS Ashish Butail, MLAs Malinder Rajan, Kewal Singh Pathania, Suresh Kumar, Principal Advisor (IT and Innovation) to CM Gokul Butail, Principal Advisor (Political) to CM Suneel Sharma, former minister Thakur Singh Bharmouri were also present on the occasion among others.
