CM Sukhu Criticizes BJP, Rallies for Congress on Last Day of Campaign sold lotus will never bloom..
*Dharamshala/Dehra/Dharampur/Sujanpur/Kutlahar** – On the final day of the election campaign, Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu made a whirlwind tour, addressing public meetings across several locations, including Mahal, Chalothra, Sujanpur, Samlada, and Kot.
In his speeches, Sukhu took sharp jabs at the BJP, stating, "A sold lotus will not bloom. Real BJP workers are disappointed with the party giving tickets to sellable MLAs."
He asserted that BJP will face defeat not only in six Vidhan Sabha seats but also in Lok Sabha seats. "BJP workers should rise above party ideology and vote to defeat money power," he urged.
Sukhu also mocked the Leader of Opposition, Jairam Thakur, claiming he has suffered from heatstroke. "Jairam says something in the morning and something else in the evening. He's upset because our government gave OPS to the employees, increasing their pensions significantly. Jairam is now seeing the OPS file in his dreams," Sukhu remarked.
Targeting Union Minister Anurag Thakur, Sukhu said, "Anurag has a phobia of lying. He has misled people about the Jolsappar Medical College and the Railway Line." Sukhu criticized Anurag's involvement in the Agniveer scheme, calling it a betrayal to the youth, and vowed that the scheme would be scrapped if the India Alliance comes to power.
Sukhu appealed for votes for Congress candidates, emphasizing their honesty and clean image. "Congress has given tickets to honest candidates, unlike BJP, which has sold its lotus to sellable MLAs," he said.
He also assured that financial benefits like the Rs 1500 allowance would be extended to all women, regardless of party affiliation.
As the campaign concluded, Sukhu called on voters to reject the politics of buying and selling MLAs. "Defeat money power and make people's power win," he concluded.
