388 Jobs in Himachal Pradesh District Courts; Applications Open Till September 10
SHIMLA, AUGUST 11: In a major recruitment drive, the Himachal Pradesh High Court has invited online applications for 388 posts in the District Judiciary of Himachal Pradesh, offering employment opportunities across Group-B, Group-C and Group-D categories.
The recruitment has been notified through Advertisement No. DJ-ADVT./2026(1) dated August 5, 2026. Eligible candidates can submit their Online Recruitment Applications (ORA) till September 10, 2026, up to 11:59 PM.
The vacancies include five Court Manager posts, 141 Clerk posts, 79 Stenographer Grade-III posts, nine Driver posts, 65 Process Server posts and 89 Peon and other Group-D posts.
Of the total vacancies, 141 posts are for Clerks, including 84 regular and 57 contract positions. The recruitment also includes 79 Stenographer Grade-III posts, with 48 regular and 31 contract positions.
The District Judiciary has also advertised nine Driver posts, comprising four regular and five daily-wage positions, while 65 Process Server posts include 61 regular, one contract and three daily-wage posts.
The largest Group-D recruitment is for 89 Peon and other posts, with 69 regular and 20 daily-wage vacancies.
The recruitment also provides category-wise vacancies for Unreserved, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Classes, Economically Weaker Sections and Persons with Disabilities, as applicable to different posts.
