As a befitting tributes to India's youth icon and modern sage, Youth from Ladakh chose their native sport of Tir Andazi to celebrate National Youth Festival. Tir Andazi is a traditional sport which is popular in Ladakh, Lahaul-Spiti and Upper Kinnaur. A Spitian Skalzang Dorje, took Himalayan Tir-Andazi to new heights when he participated in 1996 Sumer Olympics as a member of Indian archery team.

According to reports, in the birthplace of Swami in West Bengal, variety of programmes were arranged. But the Belur Math of Swami was restricted for the devotees and common people due to coronavirus.
