SHIMLA: Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said effective ‘Jan Sampark’ campaign must be launched across the constituency to sensitize the people regarding policies, programmes and achievements of the present State Government.

 Addressing the Mandal Milan programme of Siraj BJP Mandal virtually from here today said that steps must be taken to associate youth, women and scheduled caste community in party activities. He said that he would soon visit the constituency and hold meeting with various frontal organizations of the Party. 

Jai Ram Thakur said that the party functionaries must also identify beneficiaries of various welfare and developmental schemes. He said that mechanism has been developed that party workers have not to frequently visit Shimla for their petty works. He also urged the workers to participate in Micro Donation campaign launched by the National BJP President J.P.Nadda. 

Chief Minister said that the State was concerned about the sharp increase in number of Covid-19 cases in the State, but at the same time the Government was fully prepared to meet out any eventuality. He also urged the people to ensure covid appropriate behaviour so that spread of this virus could be checked.

He said that the State today has over 11500 bed capacity in the State expandable to 17000, in addition to 2374 dedicated beds with oxygen, 8765 Covid dedicated beds, 237 ICU beds and 1014 ventilators. 

BJP Seraj Mandal President Bhagirath Sharma welcomed the Chief Minister and other leaders of Seraj. He also detailed various activities being undertaken by the Mandal for strengthening the party in Seraj. He also urged the workers to participate in Micro Donation campaign launched by the National BJP President J.P.Nadda.
