HP High acting chief justice Tarlok Singh Chauhan at Rohru

SHIMLA: Acting Chief Justice of Himachal Pradesh High Court Tarlok Singh Chauhan today inaugurated Additional District and Sessions Court at Rohru.

After this, he also dedicated to the public the newly constructed litigant shed at Theog at a cost of about Rs 90 lakh.

He said  the people of Rohru, Chirgaon, Jubbal and remote areas of Dodra Kawar would be facilitated with the opening of the Additional District and Sessions Court.

He said that this was about three and a half decades old demand of the people of these areas which has been fulfilled today. He said that work is also being done for the construction of new court complex at Rohru.

On the inauguration of the litigant shed in Theog, he said that the people coming for the work of the court in Theog will now have the facility because of the litigant shed.

Now people will have the facility to present various cases in the court in a systematic manner. Along with this, there will be complete arrangement for people to sit in the litigant shed.

He urged the young lawyers to move ahead with hard work and discipline.

On this occasion, Justice Sushil Kukreja of Himachal Pradesh High Court, Justice Virender Singh and judicial officers of sub-divisional level courts, senior officers and employees associated with the judiciary were present.
