Jagat Prakash Nadda and Jai Ram Thakur in Kullu at Samman Samaroh on May 13,2022

SHIMLA/KULLU: First they tried to spark some fire in Yuva Morcha workers in Dharamshala. Then they flew to Bhuntar, flagged off 50 ambulances of 108 service, staged road show in Kullu and launched attack against Congress. They fanned out “Modi Magic” and achievements of the double engine governments in Himachal and in Delhi to woo people ahead of coming state assembly polls.

They urged people to vote in BJP, not on any political consideration, but on development agenda of double engine “Modi-Jai Ram” Governments.

They cited victories of four states-Uttarakhand, UP, Manipur and Goa to substantiate their claims for “mission repeat” in Himachal.

But they did not touch BJP's recent debacle in four by-elections  in Himachal. But they are wary of presence of Congress. They chose to attack Congress rather than the fledgling AAP in their speeches.

Rajya Sabha MP and National BJP President Jagat Prakash Nadda and Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur have been more or less on election campaign in their bid to accomplish “mission repeat” in Himachal for last one month.

In fact, Nadda toured Himachal, his home state, for fourth time on Friday May 13. He along with Jai Ram Thakur have staged a series of road shows and meetings in Shimla, Solan, Bilaspur, Kangra. Today they did it in Dharamshala and Kullu to keep the political narrative alive and ahead of Congress and AAP.

Earlier, Nadda had geared up the BJP’s SC Morcha to prevent any exodus of Dalits to the AAP, before AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal’s road show in Chambi in Kangra on April 23.

Nadda Gives Tips to Yuva leaders in Dharamshala

Today, Nadda and Jai Ram Thakur gave tips to BJP Yuva Morcha at  their training programme in Dharamshala. Nadda reminded  them of the BJP idealogues and founder Shayama Prasad Mukherjee, Deen Dayal Upadhaya and others to take the party to new level.

Also, Jai Ram Thakur had been on  spree after spree of announcements, laying of foundation stones and inauguration of projects in most of the assembly constituencies for quiet sometime to woo people, by making full use of government machineries.

Today when the Nadda-Thakur duo flagged off 50 ambulances from Bhuntar, Nadda said people of the country now do not vote on basis of political consideration,  but they vote for development.

During the launch, Thakur on the other said Himachal has now 219 ambulances under 108 national Health Mission. These will provide better transportation facilities to patients in case of medical emergency. Of 50 new ambulances,   40 ambulances have BLS (Basic Life Support) and 10 others have ALS (Advanced Life Support), he said

He said nine will go to Kangra district, 10 each to Mandi and Shimla districts, five to Sirmaur district, four to Solan district, two each to Una and Kinnaur, three each to Bilaspur and Kullu, one ambulance each to Hamirpur and Lahaul-Spiti.  But none for Chamba as per an official release.

Nadda Spins Modi Magic at Samman Samaroh for Mission Repeat

Nadda span Magic of Prime Minister Narender Modi and changing India at this Samaroh. PM made Corona vaccine in nine months. Indians have got over 190 Crore  doses for free- It took years for Polio, Japanese encephalitis and other vaccines.  PM provided free ration to over 80 crore people of the country during pandemic.

Nadda went on. Modi government brought back over 23,000 students of the country stranded in Ukraine-  430 students were from Himachal Pradesh. Even students of Pakistan came back by hoisting Indian Flags on their vehicles.  India is fast becoming as Vishva Guru, Nadda said.

Not only this, India today boasts of  400 billion dollar export. Over 9.37 lakh farmers of the state are getting Rs. 6000 per year under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojna, Nadda said.

Nadda Pats Back of Jai Ram Thakur

Nadda cited Thakur’s achievements in four and half years his present tenure in Himachal. Thakur made 6000 km long roads length, HIMCARE gives heath cover to all. He made Himachal country's as first state to give first and second doses of the vaccine. This is how double engine governments at the Centre and the State work and deserve a repeat in Himachal, Nadda said.

BJP repeated government in UP- first among any party  that did  it after 37 years. Congress candidates lost their security in 389 seats and AAP candidates forfeited their security in all the 377 seats, Nadda said.

BJP did it in neighboring Uttarakhand too. AAP forfeited security in all the 68 seats where it had contested. BJP won at its own in Manipur for the first time, Nadda said to substantiate his "mission repeat" claim for Himachal.

Nadda Attacks Congress

Jagat Prakash Nadda claimed  the special category status of Himachal was withdrawn when late Rajiv Gandhi was Prime Minister of the country and late Virbhadra Singh was Chief Minister of the State. But Prime Minister Narendra Modi restored it along with  90:10 ratio for Central-State share for projects. Second, Atal Behari Vajpayee gave special industrial package,  Rohtang Tunnel which was opened by PM Narender Modi connecting Lahaul-Spiti forever.

Nadda, Son of Soil,  Heads Biggest Party

Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said state was fortunate that the son of the soil was heading the largest political party of the world. Prime Minister Narendra Modi always considers Himachal Pradesh his second home. Projects such as  IIM and AIIMS were sanctioned to the State during the tenure of the BJP when Nadda was union Health Minister. Satellite Centre of PGI was coming up in Una.
