MANDI: Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur inaugurated and laid foundation stones of developmental projects worth about Rs 240 crore in Seraj vidhan sabha area of Mandi district today.
Chief Minister after dedicating the Mini Secretariat building at Thunag said that the credit of this unprecedented development in Seraj area goes to the people of Seraj, who have provided wholehearted support and cooperation to him.
He said that as many as 59 developmental projects have been dedicated to the people of Seraj today worth Rs 240 crore.
He said that the Rs. 29.42 crore Mini Secretariat building at Thunag was one of the most beautiful buildings of the region and would facilitate the people of the area as all the offices of the area would be housed under one roof.
Jai Ram Thakur said that Rs. 121 crore augmentation of various Water Supply Scheme under 19 Gram Panchayats of Seraj Block and Balichowki in Tehsil Thunag, was also one of the biggest water supply scheme which would provide drinking water facilities to over 19 panchayats of the area.
He urged the people of the area for their all-out support to the State government so that the pace of development goes uninterrupted.
Chief Minister also honoured Engineer Rajesh Suman and Engineer Bharat Kapoor, Balbir and Chief Architect Nand Lal Chandel on the occasion for constructing developmental projects in record time.
