Shimla - In an exciting development for adventure enthusiasts and tourists, Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu unveiled the teaser for the upcoming Shimla Flying Festival 2023. The event, a joint initiative by the Himachal Pradesh Tourism Department and 'The Glide Inn' organization, is scheduled to take place in Junga, near Shimla, from October 12th to 15th, 2023

The Chief Minister emphasized the significance of revitalizing tourism in the state, which had suffered substantial setbacks due to monsoon-related natural disasters, including heavy rains, landslides, and floods. He commended the state government's swift response in recovering from these calamities and expressed the desire to welcome tourists back to the region for a wide array of activities and adventure sports.

"The Shimla Flying Festival is set to enhance the allure of tourism in the state," stated Chief Minister Sukhu. He also highlighted the government's commitment to promoting adventure tourism, with a particular focus on developing district Kangra as a tourism hub.

The event was attended by prominent figures including Chairman of Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation R S Bali, Principal Private Secretary to the Chief Minister Vivek Bhatia, OSD to the Chief Minister Gopal Sharma, Director of Information and Public Relations Rajiv Kumar, MD of Glide Inn Arun Rawat, and other senior officials.

As the Shimla Flying Festival approaches, anticipation builds among tourists and adventure seekers eager to experience the thrill of flying in the picturesque landscapes of Himachal Pradesh.
