NAGGAR(KULLU): The stage is set for the unique Shobla Bana Naggar Fest 2023 in the quaint and serene environs of historic Naggar, the erstwhile capital of the then Kullu Rajas and now a hot tourist hub of Taj managed Baragarh Spa and Resorts and an art centre famous for Roerich Art gallery.
The fest is being organised by Aparna Aggarwal from the Chap Foundation supported by a host of sponserers.
Chief Guest at the event is Nakul Khullar, a Vijeta of Award of Excellence and a hotel magnet of Baragarh Spa and Resort.
Shobla Bana is a community based celebration inspired by the local culture.
The purpose of this festival is to identify skillset among the villagers and generate employment.
Since last year' s festival we have created employment for almost 70-80 woman, informed the organiser.
This is a show which is to benefit local community and curate immersive experiences for tourist.
The venue is the historic Naggar Castle, which is being run as tourist resort by the HPTDC, the HP government undertaking over the years. It is the seat of 18 Kalrus.
Tourists and art and nature lovers are making beeline for the Naggar fest that is set to start from May 20 in this tourist township.
The fest promises a host of soul-stirring relax and heal attractions at Baragarh spa, IHCL SeleQtions.
Main attraction is special evening for the persons with disability to dive into Yoga and Nature, meditation and massage sessions under the guidance of popular therapists- Siddarth from Varanasi and Sheru Baba, an avid Yoga Guru from Kullu.
For those who want to whet their appetite, Naggar Fest offers a tongue licking dishes of Kullu. For cultural freaks, the fest offers local and ethnic nattis and dance and entertainment in the lap of nature.
