SHIMLA: HP Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla on a three-day tour of Kinnaur district, made a stop at the Shipki La military post located at over 13,000 feet above sea level, near the border with Tibet.
The Governor was accompanied by Lady Governor Janaki Shukla.
During his visit, the Governor met with Army officers who explained how they manage things at the border.
He was very impressed with the dedication and enthusiasm of the soldiers stationed there. Despite the tough conditions, these soldiers come from all over the country and are committed to protecting our nation's borders.
The Governor praised the soldiers, saying that they are like a "security circuit" for our country, and it's thanks to their bravery that we are safe.
Several officials, including Secretary to the Governor Rajesh Sharma, Commander Brigadier R.P. Singh, Deputy Commissioner Ms. Torul Ravish, SP Vivek Chahal, Head of Shipki La Military Post Major Joy Kapfoh, ACGD ITBP Vinod Kumar Bharti, and others, were also present during this visit.
