SHIMLA: In a major breakthrough in the infamous Police constable paper leak scam, Himachal Pradesh Police has achieved a major breakthrough arresting five more persons from Bihar including two master minds-Arvind Kumar and Bharat Yadav from Nawada in Bihar, a new hotbed of high tech crime.
According to the Police, Arvind Kumar, 42, son of Shambu Parsad, is a resident Kawakaol, Nawada in Bihar. He is master mind along with Bharat Yadav in the whole conspiracy, the police said.

Interestingly Uttarakhand police have also arrested a kingpin of fake websites duping pilgrims offering heli-copter tickets for Char Dham from Nawada Bihar.
Most of the master minds of HP Police constable recruitment test paper leak scam also come from Nawada in Bihar that has substantiated that Nawada has become a hotbed of big fraud and digital crime, said experts, underscoring a need for more investigation and study of the area.
The Mandi police have also arrested Sudhir Yadav, son Karu Yadav, 40, a resident of Akbarpur District Nawada Bihar. He is a part time worker at the printing press.
Sudhir Yadav has leaked the question paper of Himachal Police Constable recruitment in March and further provided question paper to Gautam Kumar Bharti through Gore Lal Yadav on the direction of Subodh Singh, Bharat Yadav and Arvind Kumar, police investigation revealed.
The police has arrested Gore Lal Yadav, 39, son of Dawarka Parsad, resident of Warsiliganj Nawada Bihar. He is a security guard at a private company Okhla, Delhi. He had provided the question paper of Himachal Police Constable recruitment to Gautam Kumar Bharti on the direction of Subodh Singh , Bharat Yadav and Arvind Kumar, the police said
Gautam Kumar Bharti, 36, son of Brinder Parsad, resident of Athmal Gola, Badh Pata Bihar, was also arrested by the police. He has procured question paper from Gore Lal and further sent the same to his brother Bharat Yadav, the police found.
Subodh Kumar, 48, son Chuli Singh is also a resident of Warsiliganj Nawada Bihar. He is an intermediate between Sudhir Yadav, Gore Lal and Bharat Yadav, Arvind Kumar for providing question paper, said the police.
The Special investigation Team (SIT) reveal that they are the primary sources of leakage of question paper. They colluded with each other and leaked the question paper from printing press, said the police.
SIT is making all out efforts to assemble the pieces of this jigsaw puzzle to achieve the complete picture of this crime.
Till date 121 persons have been arrested in this case.
They include 85 candidates, three parents of candidates, 33 Agents, 18 from within HP and 15 from various States.
From the investigation conducted till now the police said that as many as three coaching centres, two by Kangra police and one by Una police (Bhasker Coaching Centre, Rohtak) are under scanner.
Police said that gangs from Bihar, UP, Haryana, Rajasthan, Punjab, Delhi and Himachal are involved.
Rs 10.34 lakh cash seized from Agents
The police have seized Rs. 10,34,900 cash from Agents, Rs. 6000 Nepal Currency, six Cars, 154 Mobile Phones, 5 Laptops, 1 DVR , 10 Hard Disks, one Pan Drive, three Memory Card, 1 Jio-Fi, 6 Original certificates of candidates (Matric and Plus Two) from Agents and Institutes involved.
Besides this police have also seized two Account Passbook, 2 Cheque Books and 11 other items in the whole case so far.
“The paper work is being completed simultaneously to hand over the case to CBI as and when Investigating Agency arrives to take over the investigation of this case”, stated the DGP.
