Mandi: IIT Mandi's IKSMHA Centre started the Mind, Brain, and Consciousness Conference (MBCC) 2023 here today, featuring Chief Guest Dr. Sonal Mansingh.

The conference explores consciousness, blending scientific and philosophical perspectives, including Indian Knowledge Systems.

Dr. Mansingh posed the question, 'Could Perception be the second name of Maya?' discussing the interplay of perception and illusion.

MBCC 2023 brings together scholars from diverse fields, fostering discussions on consciousness, with insights from neuroscientists, psychologists, AI researchers, and traditional Indian Knowledge practitioners.

The event includes keynotes by Prof. Laxmidhar Behera on Indian Knowledge Systems and Sh. Chitravina Ravikiran on 'Unleashing the Talent Within.'
