Rampur HPS launches Swachhata Hi Seva fortnight
Rampur, September 17: Rampur Hydropower Project has launched the Swachhata Hi Seva Pakhwada-2026 from September 17 to October 2 as per the directions of the Ministry of Power and the corporate office.
Project Head Engineer Vikas Marwah administered the cleanliness pledge to officers and employees on Thursday, with participants committing to make cleanliness a part of their daily lives, maintain a clean environment and encourage others to adopt hygienic practices. They also pledged to dedicate 100 hours every year to cleanliness.
Marwah said cleanliness was the foundation of a healthy and positive life and called upon employees to make it a daily habit rather than limiting it to a campaign. He also stressed that cleanliness should encompass personal hygiene, conduct and values.
During the fortnight, cleanliness drives and public awareness activities will be organised in the project premises and project-affected areas, including awareness campaigns, cleaning programmes, poster and message displays and community participation.
