Shimla: SJVN Hits Milestone: 60 MW Unit 2 of Naitwar Mori Hydro Electric Project Synced with National Grid. Project in Uttarakhand operational in just over 5 years despite pandemic challenges.
CMD SJVN Nand Lal Sharma said the project is expected to generate 265.5 million units annually.
It will give 12% free electricity to Uttarakhand, royalties, and support for affected families.
SJVN aims for 12,000 MW by 2026 and eyes 50,000 MW installed capacity by 2040, he said.
