Medalist Saurav Suman meets CM
Shimla, May 29: Bringing laurels to Himachal Pradesh and the country, Asian Kurash Cup bronze medalist Saurav Suman called on Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu in Shimla on Thursday.
Saurav Suman clinched the bronze medal in the senior category at the prestigious Asian Kurash Cup held at Nukus in Uzbekistan from May 22 to 25. He is presently serving as a Junior Engineer in the Jal Shakti Vibhag and is posted at Matiana in Shimla district.
Congratulating the athlete on his achievement, the Chief Minister lauded his dedication, discipline and hard work. He said Saurav’s success on the international stage would inspire the youth of Himachal Pradesh to excel in sports and bring glory to the state and the nation.
The Chief Minister also extended his best wishes to Saurav Suman for his future sporting endeavours.
