Blind woman Muskan joins as music teacher at RKMV college in Shimla

Shimla- Visually impaired Muskaan creates history at Government Girls College (RKMV) in Shimla as she becomes the first visually impaired assistant professor.

Despite the lack of light in her eyes, Muskaan's talent, dedication, and hard work have propelled her to this remarkable achievement.

Her appointment as Assistant Professor of Music at RKMV is a testament to her exceptional abilities.

Muskaan, a renowned young singer and brand ambassador of the Election Commission of India, has pursued a PhD in Music from State University while overcoming challenges.

Her success has received praise from Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu and other dignitaries.

Muskaan's journey from a remote village in Chirgaon tehsil in Shimla district to becoming an inspiration for differently-abled individuals demonstrates the power of determination and family support.

Her accomplishments in the field of music, both nationally and internationally, have brought pride to Himachal Pradesh.

The Umang Foundation chairperson Ajay Srivastav said the foundation provides merit scholarships and computer courses for blind students. 

Muskan is real ambassador and inspiration for all, he added.

Unang aims at providing  support and inclusive education.

RKMV is proud of Muskaan's achievement and is committed to providing necessary facilities for disabled students.
