SHIMLA: SJVN has won the bid for a 90 MW Floating Solar Project at Madhya Pradesh's Omkareshwar Floating Solar Park.
SJVN CMD Nand Lal Sharma said the project, with an estimated cost of Rs. 610 crores, aims to generate 203 million units in its first year and a cumulative 4,781 million units over 25 years.
It will help reduce 234,304 tonnes of carbon emissions, aligning with India's emission reduction goals.
The project is set to be commissioned within 21 months after the signing of the Power Purchase Agreement, he said
