Shimla: SJVN has secured a 100 MW Solar Project in Rajasthan.
The project will cost Rs. 600 crores and generate 252 million units of electricity in the first year and 5866 million units over 25 years, reducing carbon emissions by 287,434 tonnes.
SJVN CMD Nand Lal Sharma said the SJVN aims to expand its renewable energy portfolio in line with the Indian government's green energy targets, with a current project portfolio of 58,144 MW.
They're committed to achieving 12,000 MW by 2026, 25,000 MW by 2030, and aspire to reach 50,000 MW installed capacity by 2040, he added.
