Chandigarh: The  global business powerhouse, Tata Steel, has inaugurated a pioneering Green Steel Plant in the  heart of North India, Ludhiana city.

This  endeavor is backed by a substantial proposed investment of ₹2600 crore, signifying a significant leap towards sustainable industrial growth, says Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.

The state-of-the-art facility is slated to specialize in the production of construction-grade steel rebar, all set to be branded under the esteemed label 'Tata Tiscon.'

This landmark development underscores Tata Steel's unwavering commitment to embracing a circular economy and forging a path towards environmentally responsible, low-carbon steel production via the Steel Recycling Route.
