Reckongpeo, July 10 — In a tragic road accident today, four people lost their lives and three others were seriously injured after a car veered off Nalti road and plunged down the hillside, crashing onto the Bhawa Nagar–Karcham strech of Hindustan- Tibet highway.
The accident occurred when the vehicle reportedly lost control on a sharp turn and tumbled down the steep slope. The victims are yet to be identified.
The injured have been rushed to the nearest health centre for treatment, while police have launched an investigation into the cause of the accident. Rescue operations were carried out swiftly by locals and authorities.
